The
Great Controversy in a Nutshell by Maurice Hoppe Is a concise discussion of the war between Christ and Satan over the law of God. It traces the rebellion of a lead angel in heaven who was cast out of heaven and came to this earth. He deceived Adam and Eve to join him in his war against Christ. The great plan of redemption worked out by God the Father and Christ the Son is seen in all its glory. From the manger to the cross Jesus fought the battle against sin for us and won the victory. |
| The closing scenes of this conflict culminating
in the Battle of Armageddon are just before us. The struggle closes with the
deliverance of the saints and the destruction of this world with it's sin and
rebellion. The book closes with a brief description of the new home of the redeemed.

The Closing Scenes of
the Great Controversy by Maurice Hoppe Is a presentation of the prophecies and events from the present time to the soon-to-close history of this world. Clear instruction is given concerning the immutability of God's law. Faithful warnings and dangers are presented concerning the enforcement of Sunday worship in opposition to the 7th-day Sabbath of the fourth commandment. Timely counsel is given concerning preparation for the close of pro- bation after which it is forever too late to make things right. |
| God explains very clearly that His judgments (Revelation 16:2-9) will fall on the disobedient. Great
scenes revealing God's deliverance of His faithful believers are presented, while at the
same time the Lord engages the unbelivers and disobedient in the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:10-21). The activities to occur during the millennium and the final judgment to follow are all carefully described. The book concludes with a description of this earth which will be recreated in its original Edenic beauty which will last for eternity. To the unbeliever this information will be foolishness, but to the honest in heart, faithful one, it will be a precious treasure. |

The
Desire of Ages by Ellen G. White Traces the life of Jesus from His birth, through His life and ministry, to His ascension to His Father in heaven. To the faithful believers, Jesus Christ has been, now is and will continue to be their greatest desire. It follows very closely the narrative as presented in the gospel stories of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The Author opens to the reader special insights into the life and teachings of Jesus. The meanings and applications of the parables are explained giving their applications to our present time. |
| Much detail is presented on the illegal trial of Jesus. The death of Jesus Christ on Calvary is seen as His victory over sin for sinful man and the redemption of His obedient and faithful followers. The goal of this writer is that you may become acquainted with Jesus and find a new life in Him. |

The Great Controversy
Between Christ and Satan by Ellen G. White Reviews the history of the Christian church from the apostles and close of the Bible narrative, through the dark ages, the advent awakening, the present time and the future, to the coming of Christ and the redemption of the saints. The records of history are applied to the prophecies of Revelation so one can clearly understand the messages of these important prophecies. |
| It is not so much the object of this book to present
new truths concerning the struggles of former times, as to bring out facts and principles
which have a bearing on coming events. To unfold the scenes of the great controversy between truth and error; to reveal the wiles of Satan, and the means by which he may be successfully resisted; to present a satisfactory solution of the great problem of evil and to show the holy, unchanging nature of His law, is the object of this book. |

Advent Parallels and
|
| which involves the whole world, those who are preparing for the imminent
return of Jesus Christ must "press together" in unity with Him as expressed in
His prayer. In this series of studies the "trials of the children of Israel, and their attitude" during the first advent of Christ will be considered that the people of God may better understand their experience during the second advent movement and the preparation required to meet Jesus in peace at His second coming. That these parallels and counsel is for the whole Christian world is seen in the fact that the first angel's message was sent throughout the entire world. When the message of the third angel closes, the whole world will be arraigned on one side or the other of the great controversy. The Seventh-day Adventist Church, like the Jews, has been given the special work of preparing the world for the second coming of Jesus. But, like the Jews, their acceptance with God is conditional on their faithfulness to the work they have been given to do. These studies review the history of the Jews and the parallels between their time and our time that the people of God today may discern the will and leading of their heavenly Father. It is our prayer at Revelation Ministry that these studies will bring understanding, strength, comfort and hope to the faithful people of God in their preparation to meet their Savior in peace. |
